zhenyi c9c1a739fd fix(hooks): shell-escape script values and use glob iteration ...

Add shell_escape() to safely embed values in generated shell scripts.
Replace '$(ls ...)' anti-pattern with glob iteration to correctly
handle filenames containing spaces.
